Page Change Monitor ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that monitors user-selected webpage elements for content changes and delivers desktop notifications when a change is detected. This policy explains what data the Extension collects, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

The Extension collects only what is necessary to provide the monitoring service:

• Email address — collected when you sign in with Google via Supabase OAuth. Used solely to identify your account.
• Authentication tokens — an access token and refresh token issued by Supabase after sign-in. Stored locally in chrome.storage.local on your device and sent only to Supabase (to refresh the session) and the Extension's own backend API (antigravitymonitor.onrender.com) to authenticate your requests.
• Monitor configuration — the URL, CSS selector, label, and check interval you configure for each monitor. Stored in the Extension's backend database so your monitors persist across devices and browser restarts.
• Element values — the text content of the webpage elements you choose to monitor. Captured during each check and sent to the backend solely to detect changes and trigger alerts. Historical values are retained so you can review change history.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• Browsing history
• Keystrokes or form input
• Personal communications
• Financial or payment information
• Health information
• Precise geolocation
• Any data from pages you have not explicitly added as a monitor

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the Extension:

• Authenticating you and maintaining your session
• Storing and executing your monitor configurations
• Comparing element values over time to detect changes
• Delivering change notifications to your browser

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the monitoring service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Supabase — our authentication and database provider. Data is stored in Supabase's managed infrastructure. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.

5. Data Storage and Security

Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API and are never accessible to other extensions or websites. Monitor data is stored in Supabase with row-level security, ensuring each user can only access their own data. All communication between the Extension and the backend uses HTTPS.

6. Data Retention

Your monitor configurations and change history are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual monitors at any time from within the Extension. To request full account deletion, contact us at the email below.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data associated with your account
• Delete your monitors and change history at any time
• Request full deletion of your account and all associated data
• Sign out at any time, which removes your session tokens from the device

8. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
